The last day to registrate for St. Petersburg tour is April 1st, 2003. The visas will be arranged in Finland. Please, send a clear copy of your passport, 1 photo and a questionnaire form that you can order from us by email: maarit.saho@evl.fi. The visa costs 40 euros and a citizenship extra. We are able to transfer about 50 participants by bus to Russia. Here is the preliminary version of the St. Petersburg programme, changes may occur. Times are estimated times, there might be difficulties due to the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. The detailed programme will be diplayed later. The accommodation is in Keltto training center. The rooms are very modest, mainly for 4 people each. Monday 16.6.2003
Departure
from Ruokolahti for St. Petersburg by bus at 08.00. The lunch will be
served at the Orthodox Church of Vyborg at 12.00. The trip continues to
Keltto village, estimated time of arrival is 18.00. The dinner will be
served in Keltto. After dinner an arranged tour to St. Petersburg by bus
(voluntary). The bus heads back to Keltto at 22.00.
Tuesday
17.6.2003
Visit
to the church of Keltto and the old cemetery of the Ingrians. The lunch
will be served at Hotel Moskva in St. Petersburg. Visit to Alexander Nevski
Monastery. Meeting with the representatives of the local churches.
Wednesday
18.6.2003
Visiting
the tourist attractions in St. Petersburg. The lunch will be served at
the orthodox church of St. Petersburg. The bus leaves back to Finland
in the evening.
Thursday
19.6.2003
Arrival
to Finland early in the morning.
